PRAY PRAY PRAY 🙏

Too often I hear people that have attended NA and AA meetings say that they can’t have that one Alcoholic drink, that one is too many trying to abstain in there own strength which is most often short lived ending in relapse. I know that feeling too well when it would leave me feeling hopeless and desperate. Through prayer I begged God for supernatural intervention, I needed deliverance not abstinence! Deliverence means you no longer crave or desire it anymore you were a slave to it but your chains were cut off and you were set free and thats what God did for me. He delivered me from it and I can’t stress enough how crucial communication and relationship with God is if we want to overcome addiction, what ever that might be. Jesus is the answer folks stop trying to abstain in your own strength let go and let God. He alone sets us free so seek Him for your Victory today, pray pray pray 🙏🙏🙏

Need Support?

Addiction comes in many shapes and forms and one thing I’ve learnt from my expirience is that if you are surrounded by the right people, you can overcome anything! When I made the decision to get help, I found myself within the walls of a church 💒 and No, it didnt fall down, quite the opposite. I was loved accepted and supported to a full recovery after letting my guard down about "church” and I just want to encourage you to do the same. There is a type of phobia called ecclesiophobia (a fear of churches) that prevents people from entering a church building and therefore being robbed, of an awesome opportunity of expiriencing Gods love. I want to help you get over that stigma. Below is a link to find a church exactly the same as the one that made a difference in my life. Click on find a church below, type in the name of your local area into the location box and click search and it will locate a church just like mine within your chosen radius. If more than one appears, check them all out. Visit one each weekend to choose the one that best suits you, you will not be disapointed. 😊

I am incredibly excited to announce that I have been recognised as a Book Excellence Award Winner for my book, For this Cause: Against All Odds in the Addiction and Recovery Category.

The book was released in 2015 and is about my journey from addiction to freedom. Whether you’re a parent, teacher or counselor seeking to help a troubled loved one, a former drug addict or someone seeking to rediscover the freedom you’ve lost, you’ll be inspired to overcome obstacles with For This Cause.

Take your Time

The hardest part of my recovery was knowing how sick and unwell I felt. I received a vision from GOD when I asked how long before I would feel better again.  He showed me a timeline of 9 months.  WOW! that's an awful long time when days felt like weeks already.  Thats when I realised I had to allow myself to feel unwell and I would haveto tell myself it was ok, especially after what I'd put my body through. You can't rush the healing process. Take each day as it comes stay focused on the goal  your brain will eventually slow down to where your body is at.

Lean on God for renewed daily strength and before you know it youl be feeling ontop of the world again. 😊
